Scanska was constructing a new multi-family development in St Pete, Florida that included 700 rooms and high-end amenity spaces. Marina Beach Apartments contacted our team to install acoustic treatment. To meet STC level requirements, Marina Beach opted in to using acoustic ceiling baffles. The design can specify a perforated metal Caroline baffle from USG. USG offers an impressive product line with many shapes, sizes, and fabric types. Marina Beach selected baffles with a sleek wood finish. With supported heavy duty grid, it was to be used as one of the accent pieces in the sky lounge on the 8th floor, along with the grand lobby and amenities area.

We installed up to 3,054 sq ft of the specialty ceiling baffles. They offer a unique blend of modern aesthetic with excellent acoustical value. Made of resin hardened fiberglass and hung by airline wire, this lightweight product decreases echo in a space.
